Each stage has a different washing position and use for the soft sling. In Newborn Mode, hang the sling from both ends, providing a safe and comfortable platform for bathing even the youngest babies. The sling includes a head support for stability. In Infant Mode, the sling sits along the slope of the narrow end of the tub and provides support for infants that cannot hold themselves up. Additionally, the bump in the base of the tub provides a stop. In Toddler Mode, sitting babies can sit at the wider end of the tub, giving them more room.  Worked well for the first couple months. July 31, 2010

My daughter loved this tub for the first 2 1/2 months, it was one of the only ways I could calm her during the evening hours. Although, now that she is 3+ months it seems that 'the bump' located on the bottom of the tub is extremly uncomfortable. Bath time is no longer enjoyable for her as she arches her back to try and avoid the large plastic bump pressing against her back. I would not recommend this tub for babies over 13 pounds.

The removable insert is great for the newborn but I'm finding with using it in the bathtub it is difficult to drain the water out without having to lift the entire tub. Maybe drain should be on the side or inset just a little.

This tub is very good for babies. The netting makes it easy when the child is very small. They are safe and you know they will not go under. It is a wonderful tool. Often times, we have baby accessories that we never use and just sit in the way. Not this one! We use it for each bath. It is also good for when the baby is older as the netting is removable.
