Two-year warranty. Model 9595.
Amazon.com Product Description Series 7, the "first of a new kind" - a new top of the line shaving system from Braun and a revolution in shaving technology. It has been uncompromisingly engineered to capture more hair with every stroke, even problem hairs, for Braun.s closest and most comfortable shave ever. Braun Series 7 motor sends over 10,000 micro-vibrations per minute through the shaver head to gently stimulate the skin, causing it to ripple, which helps capture and shave more hairs with every stroke. The hair is shaved with high-speed precision using leading edge Gillette Blade Technology. For added closeness and comfort, Braun Series 7 incorporates a Sensitive Flexing Head, which follows the contours of a man's face with twice the pivoting angle of other Braun shavers, and shaves hard-to-reach areas using touch sensitive foils that respond to the slightest change in skin surface. Additionally, Braun Series 7 is the world's first shaver brand with an ENERGY STAR-qualified battery charger, which recognizes the shaver's energy-efficient design and Braun's commitment to environmental sustainability. Braun Series 7 features the world's most intelligent Clean&Renew system that automatically cleans, lubricates, dries and charges the shaver at the touch of a button. It features a new Fast Clean mode (available only in 9595 model) that cleans the shaver in just 25 seconds, which is ideal for men on the go. For occasions when the Clean&Renew system is not available, the Series 7 shaver head can be washed under running water. The shaver also incorporates a modern, ergonomic design that combines an elegant silver and chrome finish with sleek lines. One of the Better Electrics March 16, 2010 Frank D. (San Jose, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I went to an electric after 30 years of blade shaving. Years ago I tried a Norelco but realized I would never get a shave as close as blades. This Braun Series 7- 790cc though does a very acceptable job. It is not blade shaving nor is it supposed to be. It does seem to get better with each shave. I am very satisfied. It is a time saver and it sure is nice not dealing with cuts, nicks, and expensive blades. I used to skip shaving on weekends just to give my face a break, but it is so quick and easy to use this Braun that I don't mind shaving 7 days a week. Your face does need to get used to it though. You can irritate your face if you press too hard and go over an area too many times, so I suppose there is a learning curve and some conditioning required. But all-in-all I would recommend this shaver to anyone considering electric shavers. The cleaning system is a great idea, works well and overall the cartridges are not that expensive. My only real complaint was mentioned in an earlier review that only a few days after I purchsed this product, Amazon went and lowered the price. A bit underhanded if you ask me.
Excellent product March 13, 2010 B. Cummins 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
An excellent product that works well.
Being a Soldier for 23 years, I only tried one electric shaver over 10 years ago. It was a poor experience so I never believed an electric shaver could give one a shave good enough for a Soldier to stand in a military formation. I recently retired and figured I'd give an electric shaver one more try as I didn't have to worry if it didn't shave well. I purchased this Braun and received it on 5 Feb 10 (now 13 Mar 10). I have used it nearly every day, maybe not on one or two days, and was greatly surprised with the results. Everyone told me to wait four to six weeks for my skin to adjust and I would get a better shave, which I have, though the shaves in the beginning were good enough for any Soldier to stand formation. If I had known about this razor, or another earlier version of Braun, I could have saved many nicks from cold morning water bottle shaves when deployed. Nothing will be as close as a razor to the skin, but this is the next best thing. You can't feel a whisker when rubbing with the growth, and feel a slight roughness when rubbing against the growth. I guess that's the best way I could describe the shave.
As for maintenance, the Braun 7 is great. I shave, put it in the cradle, push the 'clean' button, and walk away. I replaced the cleaning solution on 11 Mar 10, so I had about 41 days on the first cartridge. The 'low' light was on, but I didn't want to wait for the empty light.
The trimmer works well, even for trimming up my haircut on the back of my neck and around my ears.
I have never used more than two squares of the battery charge per shave - even a long one when I first used it - so I couldn't imaging this thing draining a charge unless I didn't plug it in for a week straight.
If you want to try an electric razor for the first time, or if you want to replace an existing one, I HIGHLY recommend this Braun. It turned me into a believer in electric razors.
Sensitive Skin Review! March 9, 2010 TPayne 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I did multiple hours worth of research before deciding on which razor to buy. Unfortunately I'm very fair skinned, and I have rarely been able to shave in the past with a razor (believe me I have tried every kind) and not get razor burn. I even went to the dermatologist and after trying different approaches, they informed me that I was just more or less out of luck. Then I stumbled across the 790.
The pros to this product in my opinion:
-Hardly any razor burn (rarely get and and it is usually a stubble or two)
-Built well and doesn't feel cheap.
-The Hygeine meter is a nice feature, plus the self cleaning is great.
The cons:
-The 790 seems to shave my cheeks perfectly and in no time. It really does feel like a blade went over it. However when it comes to my neck, it doesn't do as great of a job. I have tried different angles, stretching my skin, but sometimes it's like it can't quite get my neck as smoothe. It also leaves my skin red (but only for an 30 min-hour or so because of the pressure put against it from the razor trying to get all the hairs removed).
-The clean and renew cartridges are fairly expensive, but as a word of advice, you don't have to clean this thing after every shave! I clean it once every 2 shaves, which for me equals out to 3 times a week.
-Self cleaning can be kind of loud, so I recommend shutting the door or starting it while you are headed out of the house.
Overall, if you haven't had any luck with a regular razor blade, then I would recommend this product. This has been without a doubt the closet I have been to obtaining a good shave without any irritation.
Shaves well, but leaks oil everywhere March 9, 2010 NHB fighter (Redmond, WA United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have actually purchased two of these in the past two years, and here are my summary conclusions:
Pros:
Very close shave, the best of any electric to date
Cons:
The first unit had a nasty habit of turning my face blue after use...the center foil is blue, and it consistently bled onto my skin meaning I always had to use it pre-shower.
If you let your beard get longer, it will pull some of the hairs out rather than cut (painful). Lesson learned, make sure to shave with it every few days minimum.
The tradeoff for being close is that this is the first and only electric that ever cut me or left painful skin abrasions. It was a consistent problem shaving right under my nose, trying to get those highest whiskers - it either cut or abraded there.
Because of the above, I tossed it after 6 months and bought a panasonic, which started leaking oil everywhere. So, I bought another Bruan Pulsonic...except this second unit started leaking oil like a sieve after one month. I am not up for shaving and having lubricating oil all over my face, so I am tossing this one and won't be coming back to the Pulsonic.
Anyway, got a few nice shaves but overall felt it was a waste of money.

I purchased the Braun Series 7 for my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it. He had an old Braun shaver before I purchased this one and it was barely getting the job done and barely stayed charged long enough for one shave. He and I can both tell that the Series 7 gives him a much closer, cleaner, smoother shave. The self cleaning feature is also really nice. His only complaint, if we had to list one, is that he wished the compartment that holds the alcohol for the self cleaning was bigger so that he didn't have to replace it as often. Personally, I like that it's smaller because you're 'forced' to replace the dirty alcohol more frequently. Also, when I purchased it, it was over $200, but I still think it was totally worth it and I know my boyfriend is very happy with it.
