Keeps me healthy when I travel--and I travel A LOT! September 3, 2010 Kim D. Allen (Sarasota, FL United States) I travel frequently to different parts of the world. Not only does Airborne keep me "healthy", so to speak, so that my immune system is functioning at 100% when I arrive at my destination, but the Airborne also helps decrease the affects of jet lag.
No matter whether it is a 6-hour flight or 26-hour marathon of connections, the Airborne makes me feel more refreshed. I have to remind myself to take it every 4 hours on flights (hard to do when you are halfway around the globe and haven't slept well), so I keep my watch on my hometown time and do the countdown that way, at least until I reach my final destination.
This was a real lifesaver on a 34 hour-trip to a South African safari television filming. The rest of my cohorts were dozing in the Land Rover while I was bright-eyed and chipper, able to observe the wildlife around me.
Stop Letting Other People Think For You! August 25, 2010 chipmunkav8r Airborne works very well for me when I use it consistently for the intended purpose. It has definitely prevented several upper respiratory infections when I have taken it at the first sign and continued to use it for a few days. I am amazed how many people still pay attention to the ridiculous attempts to discredit good supplements with "science." It is even more interesting to see so many people obviously benefitting from products like this who feel that have to leave open the possibility of a placebo effect. Seriously, think for yourself, try things, and if they work just say so! People need to realize that "anecdotal evidence" in not inherently invalid. In fact, many "placebo-controlled double-blind studies" are seriously flawed and are nearly always financed and conducted by entities with inherent conflicts of interest (and often exposed as shams later.) Back to anecdotal evidence: if one person reports that a supplement works it may be true but cannot be relied upon. However, if many people, with no common agenda, report that a supplement works, that information becomes at least as reliable as a "scientific study" if the number of reports is large enough. I have no financial or other interest in this product. I simply hope to cause people to think more independently about their own health. By all means read about studies but do so using critical thinking and recognize that you are getting on side of the story.
BTW: I agree with the reviewer who suggested using this with zinc lozenges/chews. They work very well together for me.

Great stuff to fly with. It actually helps ease jet lag. I don't feel so dehydrated either after flying. Also use it when I begin to feel snifflies coming on. It really just stops me from getting sick at all.
This product is all hype. May 7, 2010 Wayne (MD USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The company claims this product does many things. It does not. Science had proven it of no use against the common cold and it has also been disclaimed by a magazine that accepts no advertising. We threw it all away.
Great product! January 7, 2010 PM (Springfield, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this stuff -- I take it at the first sign that I might be getting a cold. It works for me.
