We have been using Oscillococcinum for years to both prevent illness during travel and flu outbreaks and to minimize effects if/when we feel something coming. This is a great price.

I bought this product during the Swine Flu panic in 2009. Luckily, I never got the Swine Flu. I did get the flu during regular flu season, so I tried the Boiron Oscillococcinum. I can't tell you if it worked. I can tell you that I felt lousy for several days -- I just don't know if I would have felt even worse without the Boiron Oscillococcinum. Seems sort of like granulated sugar rather than a product with medicinal qualities.

My naturopath recommended this product when I was pregnant as an alternative to taking cold medicine. Instead of just treating the symptoms, it is supposed to direct your immune system to kill the virus instead. I couldn't believe that during my entire pregnancy (which compromimises your immune system) I did not have a serious cold or the flu while teaching elementary school. I just took some whenever it felt like I was starting to have symptoms and then had, at the worst, a minor bit of congestion for a day or two. Since then, I have purchased it to keep myself and my infant son healthy. Have not missed a day of school in 3 years for cold or flu yet!

This is the best product that I've ever used against Flu. Very good to prevent Flu as well as to treat it.
