My naturopath recommended this product when I was pregnant as an alternative to taking cold medicine. Instead of just treating the symptoms, it is supposed to direct your immune system to kill the virus instead. I couldn't believe that during my entire pregnancy (which compromimises your immune system) I did not have a serious cold or the flu while teaching elementary school. I just took some whenever it felt like I was starting to have symptoms and then had, at the worst, a minor bit of congestion for a day or two. Since then, I have purchased it to keep myself and my infant son healthy. Have not missed a day of school in 3 years for cold or flu yet!

This is the best product that I've ever used against Flu. Very good to prevent Flu as well as to treat it.

i've relied on this product for several years. it works!
but only when you feel like you're having a cold. once you get cold already, the product is not a magic anymore.
it's hard to believe, but this 'medicine' (not really, because it's not the same as nyquil or vicks or any other over-the-counter meds for cold/flu) works like the following in my body:
- the next morning after taking the pills (*2 to 3 the day before), i always feel some kind of sore throat, but it's actually mucus that needs to be rid of
- it'll last only for 1 day or 2, no coughing, no fever involved
i gave it to my kids, too. but i don't see apparent results on them. either they're too small to know the symptoms, or the pills don't work on kids... not too sure.
but the pills really work for me.
this price here in amazon is 1/2 of what others (safeway, lucky's, etc) sell for.
