Smells almost like marshmallow. I've only used it once so far, but it goes on really nicely. Not greasy at all, and the scent after you tan still smells great. Definitely made me darker after one use. Left me very soft all over even my legs which were kinda scaley and gross.

I'm a moderate tanner and this is the first lotion I have ever used while tanning. I tend to like it because it does moisturize my skin, but I don't think it really did anything to increase my tan other than maybe reduce the risk of burning. Of course I can't be scientifically sure of whether it increased my tan or not, but if it did, it was minimal. However, I still like the lotion.
The smell of this particular lotion isn't too bad, I'm a man and didn't feel ashamed walking around smelling like this, and I never liked smelling like a tanning bed, whatever that weird smell is that happens when you tan.
Being that this lotion is pretty cheap comparably speaking, I do recommend it, simply because a lotion is a good idea when tanning. My skin used to be irritated, dry, and redder before I used the Paint it Black 50x, and this helps alleviate some of that. Don't expect to see too much darkening happen though, if you're buying this lotion expecting to darken shades simply by applying the lotion you will be disappointed. Just realize that a lotion is part of a marketing scheme by the tanning salons to make more money and buy a cheap lotion online like this one, if you really like the feel of a lotion while tanning.
If you're like me you don't want to spend much money at all for tanning, I always buy the cheapest packages and don't really care about having all the fluff. The "nicer" beds costing double seems silly to me, definitely not worth it to me, but a lotion, depending on how long it lasts really is worth it.

I really wanted to like this product because of the price. I did tan well with this product but I couldn't get past the post-tan smell. It reminded me of self tanner odor. If you can get past the smell its not a bad product. I ended up paying a whole lot more for Aphrodisiac at the salon because I couldn't stand the smell of Paint it Black.

I've used many tanning lotions over the years and paint it black is the best one i've used so far, I definitely will not being switching anytime soon. I recently started tanning again after having my daughter so I was starting off from scratch, no base tan or anything. After two 8 minute sessions in a level 2 bed, I have an awesome tan, not just a base either. definitely way darker. The lotion smells great and the silicone really makes your skin so so soft. I recieved my order VERY quickly and I would definitely buy from this user again.

I have been tanning for quite sometime, usually three times a week and thought I was pretty dark. I got to a point that I didn't seem to see additional results. After using Paint it Black 50X two times I saw amazing results. I didn't think I could get any darker but I was wrong. This lotion made a big difference. The fragrance is nice and not overpowering. It makes your skin feel so smooth. I highly recommend this product.
