 If you're looking for a cold pack, look elsewhere September 4, 2010

As noted by other reviewers, the body wrap does not work at all well as a cold pack, even though it is advertised as such. It has been in my freezer for over a week and I am wearing it now on one shoulder with an $8 Thermipaq I bought at the grocery store with an internal liquid/gel substance on the other. There is a noticeable difference. The grocery store liquid/gel pack is much cooler.
I have not tried the body wrap as a heat pack but other reviews say it burns up or breaks down rather quickly. Not promising.
Side tip: a physical therapist told me I could make my own "ghetto ice pack" with 1/3 cup vodka to 2 cups water in a Ziploc bag. Also works with rubbing alcohol.

I absolutely love my wrap and use it daily at work. The only problem I've had is that I have burned two of them in the microwave! I have discovered that my microwave runs a little hot. However I can obtain the perfect amount of heat at 70% power. I would definitely recommend this hot pack!

I bought it for a cold pack, but it doesn't work! I placed it in fregirator for whole day and it just doesn't get cold. Before throwing it away, I checked what's in the bag. And there was tons raw rice filled in a sack... I just don't get it how does raw rice could be work as a hot pack or cold pack. Anyway if your looking for a cold pack, buy other, not bed buddy.

I borrowed a friends Bed Buddy, Back wrap,loved it and had to have one ,I shopped around found the product, and price I wanted on Amazon.I am having spine surgery shortly and at night i use it in microwave then I might freeze it ,I use it in the car it stays warm quite a while.wonderful quick service Thanks,
